NEW BEGINNINGS

So much growth has happened between April 15, 2010 and today.  When we first opened our doors to the beautiful city of Los Angeles as Papillion Institute of Art over a decade ago we had no idea or expectations of what would happen next.  What did happen next was a lot of freedom to explore. We tried new things and said yes to whatever we wanted to do and whoever we wanted to do those things with.  The freedom to grow was with us for many many years until it wasn't.  Going into a years long sabbatical the next exploration of PAPILLION ART was about introspection. It was about finding freedom through self discovery and spiritual expansion.  All of the projects I am pursuing today have come out of that space.  I have re-launched my family's farm, Royal Queen Farms. Soon I will be opening a new three story arts and performance space called ROOTS with a farm to table restaurant on the ground floor. I have also created an archival library where all of my work in art and consciousness can be available for research purposes, the Upeksha Query will have space in the new building.  I am as eager to share as you may be to hear and see.  More details coming when the timing is right.

My Story My Journey

When I began my sabbatical in June 2016 I thought I would be taking the next 6 months of the year off and then coming back rested, rejuvenated.  I was very off with that assumption and that is a story I shall save for another time.  But one of the great things I discovered during this time in my life were podcasts.  This way of story telling meant so much to me, I devoured hours and hours and hours of talks, interviews, stories and conversations.  One of the many podcasts I listen to is Mysterious Radio with K-Town.  On one episode Julie was the guest and I connected to her conversations on how we experience life with our loved ones who have travelled on and her practice of medical intuituveness.  I decided to book a session with her to learn more about medical intuitiveness and literally the first half hour of our call was her wanting to know so much about me and my story.  By the time we ended our session she had asked me to come on as a guest and share my story on her show.  So here we are!

At the end of 2022, I had a conversation with Julie Ryan about my story and where my journey has led me.
